The results of the 2019 research of the Individual Giving and Philanthropy in Türkiye Report, in which TUSEV has been compiling up-to-date data by monitoring the field of individual giving in Türkiye since 2004, has been published. Under the instruction of Prof. Dr. Ali Çarkoğlu and Dr. Selim Erdem Aytaç from Koç University Civil Society and Philanthropy Research Center, with the participation of 2 thousand 502 people in 67 provinces of Türkiye, the research was conducted under the headings of Social Capital and Civil Society, Individual Donations in Türkiye and Motivation to Donate, direct aid to those in need, donations to non-governmental organizations. It provides up-to-date information and data on the motivations and preferred methods of participation in activities and donations.
The research Individual Giving and Philanthropy in Türkiye which was conducted by Koç University Field Studies Center and led by Prof. Dr. Ali Çarkoğlu and Asst. Prof. Dr. Selim Erdem Aytaç and which supported by Anadolu Foundation, Aydın Doğan Foundation, ENKA Foundation, Hüsnü M. Özyeğin Foundation, Sabancı Foundation, and Vehbi Koç Foundation presents many topics such as the perception of philanthropy, trends in individual giving, donation areas and motivations to donate, accompanied by up-to-date data.
The Philanthropy in Türkiye: Citizens, Foundations and Social Justice Project report, conducted by TUSEV to understand and measure the philanthropic potential for social justice in Türkiye, has been published. Within the scope of the report conducted in Türkiye, Tanzania, India, Egypt, England and Indonesia, the individual and corporate donations were revealed, the extent of the difficulties and obstacles faced by Turkish foundations and the philanthropy potential for social justice in Türkiye were revealed.
